Vanessa is the most grounding and supportive coach I've ever had. She's a fellow runner and inspires through action and her willingness to be vulnerable. This has been a very healing experience for me because I realized that my previous racing and team training has left me feeing like I wasn't good enough, burnt out, and unsupported. If you're looking for a coach who can guide you through anything, including an injury, Vanessa is the one! She coached me through my first 50k training while I started off with an injury, and her mobility exercises made a huge difference. By race day I felt sting and ready, and I finished with confidence thanks to her support. I would definitely trust her with my next race!

Not only did Vanessa develop a training schedule that met me where I was physically and specifically focused on my goal, but she also made sure to incorporate strength training into my program which proved incredibly beneficial! I never felt overwhelmed by the program (it felt doable with my busy schedule) but more importantly, I didn't feel like she had given me a one size fits all template. She listened to my needs and some of my challenges and adjusted accordingly, making me feel super ready for race day!
